Tryon Fall 6: Midweek Update
October 24, 2025 - Mill Spring, NC - In the final week of the Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola, Jessica Springsteen launched into the week earning the lion’s share of the $32,000 LeMieux Welcome Stake CSI 2*. Tackling the Kevin Holowack course on Thursday were 48 horse and rider combinations.
Tryon Fall 5: Results
October 18th, 2025 – Adding a third FEI win to his week at Tryon International, Daniel Coyle (IRL) left Tryon Stadium on Saturday afternoon with the blue ribbon. With equine teammate Farrel (VDL Cardento 933 x Argelith Stakkato) rising to the occasion, the 2010 Dutch Warmblood gelding and Coyle bested a field of 27 competitors to claim the $31,100 Winning Round CSI 5* victory. Securing a double clear performance, Coyle and Farrel finished with a jump off time of 48.47 seconds. Aboard Lesley Martin’s Perte Totale De Res Nova (Comme Il Faut x Verdi), Andrew Bourns (IRL) also captured a double clear effort with the 2015 Belgian Warmblood stallion, marking 50.14 seconds in the jump off. Third place, with a jump off time of 51.02, was awarded to Nicolette Hirt (USA), riding Kaphira (Broere VDL Corland x Clearway), the 2015 Dutch Warmblood mare owned by Chatwood Farms LLC.
Nicola Philippaerts Earns First MLSJ Grand Prix Win
Tryon, NC—Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) showcased a star in the making on Saturday night as he guided 9-year-old Gadget Mouche to win the $340,000 5* Grand Prix, presented by KASK, to cap Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) Leg 5 at Tryon International.
Tryon Fall 5: Saturday Update
October 17, 2025 – The biggest week of the Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola has commenced in the Blue Ridge Foothills, bringing CSI 2* and 5* competition, along with the thrills of Major League Show Jumping action. Now two-for-two on CSI 2* wins, Daniel Coyle (IRL) once again found the top of the podium in Tryon Stadium, taking first in Friday’s $32,000 Vogel Grand Prix CSI 2* with Ariel Grange’s Daydream (Phin Phin x Voltaire). Coyle and Daydream crossed the jump off timers at 38.01 seconds for a double clear effort. 17-year-old Tony Stormanns (GER) teamed up with Cassius Clay (Comme Il Faut x Albatros), the 2015 Hanoverian gelding owned by HS Sportpferde GMBH, to take second place, just behind Coyle in 38.41 seconds. Also a talented young force, Olivia Sweetnam (USA) claimed third aboard Epic (Billy Mexico x Flyinge Electro), the 2015 Anglo European gelding owned by Sweet Oak Farm and Monica Preston, marking a 40.41 second jump off.
Helios Heating Up with Second Victory in Tryon
Mill Spring, NC —Helios scored their second win of the 2025 Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) season in the $262,500 5* Team Competition, presented by Cabana Coast, on Friday evening during Leg 5 at Tryon International. Michael Duffy (IRL) on Be Sky Hawk, Tony Stormanns (GER) aboard Donjon d’Asschaut and Richard Vogel (GER) riding Michael Jackson W made up the winning squad.
Abdel Saïd Leads Trelawny Trailblazers to Top of Season Standings
Mill Spring, NC—Abdel Saïd (BEL) made his debut under the Trelawny Trailblazers’ moniker an impactful one by winning the $117,000 5* Qualifier, presented by LeMieux, held on Thursday during Leg 5 of Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) at Tryon International. The win and additional eight points were enough for the Trelawny Trailblazers to overtake Maccabi United at the top of the overall team standings.

October 11, 2025 – Mill Spring, NC – Capping off an action-packed evening of Show Jumping $120,000 Skyla Credit Union Grand Prix CSI 3*, Rupert Carl Winkelmann (GER) emerged as the top competitor in a field of 40 teams. Paired with his own Imodo (Bessemeind’s Quasimodo Z x Broere VDL Corland), Winkelmann produced one of only two double clear rounds of the night, finishing the short track in 42.70 seconds. Owner and rider of Flagship De Hus (Windows VH Costersveld x Fergar Mail), Alejandro Leonardo Winkler (MEX) slotted into second place, recording 44.11 seconds in the jump off with the 2015 Selle Francais mare. Keeping the poles up but incurring two time faults to land in third, David Blake (IRL) piloted Conblue (Conthargos x Chacco-Blue), Pine Hollow Farm’s 2014 Oldenburg gelding, to a 53.06 second jump off.
Tryon Fall 4: Hunter Update
October 10, 2025 – Mill Spring, NC – Hunter action returned to the lights of Tryon Stadium on Friday evening with the $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby taking centerstage. Kelli Cruciotti Vanderveen (USA) partnered with Ratino KN Ter Beuken (Gino H x Extreme From The Breeder D 09) to put 361 points on the board to take the win. Classic round high scorer Ethan Maye (USA) piloted his own Uno Dinero (Unknown x Unknown), the 2011 Holsteiner gelding, to second place on a total of 340 points. Past derby winner Victoria Free (USA) and Andrea Block’s 2016 Hanoverian gelding Step Up (Cabana x Speak Up) collected 339 points to slot into third place.
Tryon Fall 4: Jumper Update
Mill Spring, NC – October 9, 2025 – An international podium took over Tryon Stadium after the conclusion of Thursday’s $32,000 LeMieux Welcome Stake CSI 3*. The top spot was awarded to Tanner Korotkin (USA) who piloted Cardozo 4 (Colestus x Falkenhof’s Lancer) to the win. The 2012 Danish Warmblood stallion Wannabe CS (Warrant x Pythagoras), owned by Brooke Peterson and ridden by Peter Petschenig (AUT), received reserve honors. Luis Sabino Goncalves (POR) rode the Sigma Stables, LLC mount Scoop De Septon Z (Hunters Scendro x Echo Van T Spieveld), the 2014 Zangersheide mare, to third place.

October 4, 2025 – Mill Spring, NC – Besting an ultra-competitive field of athletes in Saturday night’s $70,000 Back on Track Grand Prix CSI 2*, Jad Dana (LEB) saw the top of the podium once again with teammate Itchcock Des Dames (Marius Claudius x Calvaro F.C.). Blazing through the jump off timers in 37.46 seconds, the winning pair produced a double clear effort on the Oscar Soberon (USA) track. Aboard Leeann Ablin’s Baroness (Balous Bellini x Unknown), Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN) and the 2015 Westphalian mare completed the short round just behind Jad Dana, marking a time of 38.07 seconds. Kristen VanderVeen (USA) partnered with Bull Run’s Jireh (Uriko x Colman) to take third, recording a 38.78 second jump off time with the Bull Run Jumpers Inc.’s 2014 Holsteiner gelding.
Tryon Fall 3: Hunter Update
October 3, 2025 – Mill Spring, NC – Week three of the Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola saw no shortage of talent in the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, with Hunter teams taking over the International Stadium Friday evening. As the final horse-and-rider team to tour the Seth Clayton (USA) track, Jennifer Alfano (USA) and her own Ivy League (Cumytime Z x Ibiza-S) scored a win, collecting a 372 point total. Fabian Herrera (USA), owner and rider of the 2012 Warmblood gelding Accelerator (Accelerator x Bazylia), earned second place in the derby with a total of 279 points. Jennifer Alfano also partnered with Meredith Lipke’s Paradigm (Carrico x Queensberry PJ), the 2012 Warmblood gelding, to score 279 points and a third place finish.
Tryon Fall 3: Jumper Update
Mill Spring, NC - October 2, 2025 - Starting off the third week of the Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola with a bang, Jad Dana (LEB) saw his second FEI win in two days, claiming Thursday’s $32,000 LeMieux Welcome Stake CSI 2*. Partnered with Itchcock Des Dames (Marius Claudius x Calvaro F.C.), Dana bested a field of 59 trips across the Oscar Soberon (USA) track, blazing through the jump off timers in 37.57 seconds. Aboard his own Cristiano Obolensky (Coronet Obolensky x Stakkato), Gonzalo Busca Roca (ESP) piloted the 2015 Hanoverian gelding to a second place finish, just behind the winners with 37.72 seconds on the clock. Aboard Sabrina Lefebvre’s 2017 Belgian Warmblood mare Ribery (Aganix Du Seigneur x Cadix Du Seigneur Z), Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN) slotted into third place with a 38.81 second jump off.
Tryon Fall 2: 2025 Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola
Mill Spring, NC - September 27, 2025 - Saturday’s $30,000 LeMieux Grand Prix concluded with an all-women podium after twelve trips toured the Tryon Stadium course. Adding to the competitive excitement, just four riders qualified for the jump off, and Kristen VanderVeen (Wellington, FL) produced the only Coke Zero double clear of the night with Bull Run’s Kingdom (Dutch Design x TipTop). On top of the podium, Kristen VanderVeen was presented with the Governor's Cup for her success.
2025 Tryon Fall 2: Midweek Update
Mill Spring, NC - September 26, 2025 - It was a clean sweep for local rider, Theresa Tolar (Forest City, NC) during the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. There were ten trips to complete the Seth Clayton course, and Tolar claimed the top three spots with her three separate mounts. The excitement of Tolar’s tricolor achievement had not set in yet, but she expressed “I'm just proud that all three of those horses gave their all today!”
2025 Tryon Fall CDE Results
Mill Spring, NC - September 21, 2025 - The Tryon Fall CDE (Combined Driving Event) took place at Tryon International this past weekend, featuring the USEF Combined Driving National Championships for Horses. Competition included three-phases - Dressage, Marathon, and Cones which witnessed champion teams to division debuts.

Mill Spring, NC – September 20, 2025 - The first Saturday Night Lights presented by Skyla Credit Union of the 2025 Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola was full of excitement and beautiful weather. Taking on the Jasen Shelley course was 14 horse and rider combinations. Completing their double clear efforts with the fastest time, Ricardo Alberto Villa (Campobello, SC) and Curioso Van Maarle Z (Canabis Z x Katina VD Holstenhoeve Z) were named champions in the $20,000 Special Olympics North Carolina Grand Prix.

Mill Spring, NC - September 14, 2025 - Tryon Fall Dressage 1 & 2 presented by Cedar Direct took place September 12-14th. Judges Cindy Canace and Margaret Freeman were in the boxes for over two hundred rides. From Training to FEI, there were classes of all levels for competitors and spectators to enjoy!
