Tryon Cares presented by iHeart Media, the community outreach initiative of Tryon International, in partnership with valued sponsors Pavillon, CooperRiis, and St. Luke’s Hospital Mental Health and Wellness, is proud to present Mental Health Awareness Month presented by Pavillon, with programming throughout the month of May at the venue. All events are open to the public and showcase the importance of taking care of mental health and wellbeing alongside physical health.
IHSA National Championship
IHSA National Championship competition will be hosted in Tryon International’s Indoor Complex May 3-5, 2024, featuring both Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Hunter Seat and Western disciplines.
IEA and IDA National Finals
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is proud to announce that they will host the 2024 Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) National Championships alongside their own IEA Hunt Seat and Dressage National Finals on April 25-28, 2024 at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina.
Easter Brunch
Celebrate Easter with Tryon International’s delectable brunch, offered at 11am and 1pm seatings on March 31st in the Legends Club. Perfect for large groups, with onsite lodging available! Reservations in advance STRONGLY recommended by March 28. Walk-ins accepted based on availability

Oktoberfest at Tryon International
Break out your lederhosen and join us for Tryon Resort’s Oktoberfest celebration! Pre-order your commemorative stein and come enjoy delicious food, market vendors, and live music from the Holzhackern Tyrolean Band on the Gazebo Stage. FREE kids’ activities such as bucking horse and carousel rides will be available both evenings.
4th Annual Divertimentos & Dressage
Brooke USA’s 4th Annual Divertimentos & Dressage returns to the Tryon International Equestrian Center on Thursday, October 19th. The signature event is sure to delight guests once again with a live symphony orchestra playing classical pieces to the choreographed movements of extraordinarily gifted dressage riders and their Grand Prix horses.
WCRA® Rodeo Carolina
Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (Tryon International) in North Carolina will host a 2023 Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR) event. With a total guaranteed payout over $400,000, the event on October 6-7, 2023, will be the richest rodeo east of the Mississippi River and creates more opportunities for athletes outside the traditional annual rodeo season.
NC Special Olympics Equestrian Tournament
Tryon International is proud to welcome the return of the NC Special Olympics Equestrian Tournament. This event is free and open to the public, with volunteers needed!
Spartan Races Weekend: Super, Sprint & Kids Races
Spartan Races return to Tryon International this August, with multiple race lengths and categories available.
USHJA Emerging Athletes Program (EAP) Regional Training Program
The MZ Farms/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program was created to provide opportunities for young riders to advance their horsemanship education and riding skills.
Redeemed Steel Hammer In and Custom Knife Show
Yellow Rose Forge presents the Redeemed Steel Hammer In and Custom Knife Show! Free to spectators, with 50 vendors expected! Hammering begins 10am-3pm, with ongoing raffles and an auction at 3pm. Knife show ends at 7pm.
Palmetto Arabian Sport Horse Classic
Tryon International is excited to welcome the Palmetto Sport Horse Classic Horse Show to the Indoor Complex, featuring Arabian & Half-Arabian Sport Horse, Dressage, and Hunter Over Fences classes.
