Tryon Spring 3 (AA/level 4)
The Tryon Spring Series features six weeks of national and international competition from May 1-June 9, beginning with three weeks of national levels before adding CSI 2* and CSI 3* jumpers to the latter half of the series. Tryon Spring 6/Tryon Riding & Hunt Club Charity Horse Show, hosted June 5-9, will be the 96th edition of this USEF Heritage Horse Show and will feature Trip of the Day, perpetual trophies, special events and more.

Magnolia in the Mountains Sport Horse Classic
Formerly named the Palmetto Sport Horse Classic, the Magnolia in the Mountains Sport Horse Classic returns to TIEC this summer, featuring Arabian & Half-Arabian, Andalusian/Lusitano and Friesian Sport Horse and Dressage competitions. Free and open to the public!

Tryon Summer 2 (B/Level 3)
The Tryon Summer Series will once again kick off with Tryon Summer 2 on June 19, continuing five weeks through July 21. The series features four weeks of CSI 2* and CSI 3* competition, and Tryon Summer 3 is slated to host the annual Pony Spectacular with a Pony Hunter Classic, costume parade and stall decorating contests. Tryon Riding & Hunt Club Charity II competition will take place at Tryon Summer 4.

Tryon Fall CDE
Like the sport of Eventing, but with a horse-drawn carriage, the sport of Driving (also known as Combined Driving) tests a handler’s skills over three phases - Dressage, Marathon, and Cones - in Singles, Pairs, and Four-in-hand divisions. This sport demands horse-and-driver communication, finesse, and teamwork through three challenging phases of competition.
20th IFSHA Grand National Horse Show
The International Friesian Show Horse Association returns to Tryon International in 2024 with the 20th Anniversary IFSHA Grand National Horse Show! Competition will take place Wednesday-Sunday. New for 2024, the weekend will also host IALHA Regional Championships Classes. More information TBA!

Young Horse Show Finals presented by Spy Coast Farm
The Young Horse Show Finals presented by Spy Coast Farm is hosted at TIEC November 5-9. The Young Horse Show Series and Finals provides a safe and educational environment for young horses from yearlings to seven years old – across Hunters, Jumping, Dressage and Eventing disciplines – to learn and grow, receive evaluation and receive exposure to potential buyers. Competition takes place in hand, at liberty and through the jump chute, under saddle and over fences as appropriate.

IHSA National Championship competition will be hosted in Tryon International’s Indoor Complex May 3-5, 2024, featuring both Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Hunter Seat and Western disciplines.

IEA and IDA National Finals
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is proud to announce that they will host the 2024 Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) National Championships alongside their own IEA Hunt Seat and Dressage National Finals on April 25-28, 2024 at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina.

Katydid CDE at TIEC

Tryon CVI and Piedmont Spring Fest (Vaulting)
Simply described as gymnastics on horseback, Vaulting is a harmonious bond between horse and athlete that creates awe-inspiring acrobatic displays of skill and precision. You’ll can see Individual, Pas de Deux (Pairs), and Team divisions at any competition.

IEA Zone 4 Finals
IEA Zone 4 Finals will take place in the Blue Ridge Covered Arena on March 16-17 at Tryon International. Competition begins at 9am daily. Spectators will follow signs to park near the East Pavilion and Derby Field.
Harmon Classics Holiday Classic
Harmon Classics Holiday Classic is the final show comprising the Harmon Classics Holiday Series at Tryon International this December. The Holiday Classic will feature a stall and gingerbread decorating contest, a $2,500 Ugly Sweater Derby, and more details can be found on the Harmon Classics Website.
Harmon Classics Holiday Premier
Harmon Classics Holiday Premier is the first of two shows comprising the Harmon Classics Holiday Series at Tryon International this December. The Holiday Premier will feature the Global Crossrail Championships sponsored by M&S Insurance, and more details can be found on the Harmon Classics Website.
USMGA Mounted Games Competition

NCWE Working Equitation Fall Camp
Open to all disciplines and with its roots in Iberian cattle ranching, Working Equitation competitions can feature four kinds of trials: Dressage, Ease of Handling (EOH), Speed, and Cattle Trials all comprise Working Equitation.

IFSHA Grand National Show
The IFSHA Grand National Show will be hosted at Tryon International in the Indoor Complex from September 27 -October 1, 2023. In addition to the IFSHA National Championship Classes, IALHA Regional Championship Classes and Dressage will be hosted September 31-October 1. This event is free and open to the public to attend!
