IEA Zone 4 Finals
IEA Zone 4 Finals will take place March 12-15. This event is free and open to the public! Come watch middle school and high school students compete on randomly drawn horses, showcasing Hunt Seat equitation.

Katydid Combined Driving Event
Like the sport of Eventing, but with a horse-drawn carriage, the sport of Driving (also known as Combined Driving) tests a handler’s skills over three phases - Dressage, Marathon, and Cones - in Singles, Pairs, and Four-in-hand divisions. This sport demands horse-and-driver communication, finesse, and teamwork through three challenging phases of competition.

IHSA National Championship
The 2026 IHSA National Championship will return to the Indoor Complex at Tryon International May 1-3, 2026. Featuring Hunt Seat and Western competition, riders compete on randomly assigned school horses instead of personal mounts. Come cheer on teams from around the nation!

Duke "Jump for the Children" Horse Show I
The Duke "Jump for the Children" Horse Shows will be moving from Raleigh, NC to Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort in November 2025. Competition will feature USEF National and Level 4 competition, continuing a 42-year tradition of raising lifesaving funds for Duke Children’s Hospital (Duke Children’s). Duke “Jump for the Children” I is a USEF Heritage Competition.

Young Horse Show Series Qualifier Event
The Young Horse Show Series returns to Tryon International next month! The Young Horse Show Series provides a safe and educational environment for young horses from yearlings to seven years old to learn and grow. Free and open to the public!

Harmon Classics returns to TIEC for the Pink Day Show, hosted September 4-7, 2025. Competition is free and open to the public for spectators.
