  • Yes, you can buy tickets at Box Office Friday and Saturday… BUT this event has sold our in years past, so buying ahead is your best option. Otherwise, we may be sold out completely or only able to offer you a VIP seat by the time you arrive!

  • If you are unable to find your tickets, please make sure to check your spam folder. The confirmation comes directly from Etix. If you still are not able to locate that email, just let us know and we can resend that confirmation. You can also try logging into your etix account and ensuring your email is correct.

  • No, pets are not permitted at this event.

  • Yes Tryon is a very handicap accessible site. There are places for wheelchairs at the top of our grandstands, and our restrooms are handicap accessible. Accessing VIP and accessible seating can be accomplished via elevator.

  • Yes, plenty of food options are available in our restaurants, inside the venue and in our vendor area. Drinks of all kinds are available at multiple locations.

  • Most of our vendors and restaurants all take credit cards, but cash is never a bad idea to bring. We do have ATMs on site as well (General Store and Clear Rounds Pub).

  • No, but you can. It is a good to download it to your phone (or screenshot the barcode!) so you can have it pulled up when you get to the event entrance.

  • The following items are NOT permitted:

We do not allow firearms or weapons of any kind. Chairs or umbrellas are not permitted at this event. Outside food or drinks are also prohibited. No pets are permitted within the event area.

  • The seats in our stadium are full seats with chair backs. They are NOT bleachers, so each seat is a comfortable individual seat. If you purchased dirt floor seating, that area is mostly standing room, for those who want to be right up next to the rails, and the review stands are actual bleachers without chair backs.

Tickets for the two-day event start at $20, taxes and fees not included. For $50, eventgoers can also purchase the VIP Add On, giving them early entry, access to the second-floor club level, private concessions, bars and bathrooms and a temperature-controlled viewing area. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.

PBR Dirt Seats will be available for $125, giving ticket buyers the most up-close and personal experience at the PBR Ironpeddlers Chute Out. Tickets will include both bleacher and standing room access, in addition to admittance to a private food and beverage tent.

VIP tickets will also be available for the PBR Ironpeddlers Chute Out.

The PBR Challenger Series will hold more than 60 events from May-October, culminating with its Championship on October 19 in Las Vegas. The PBR Challenger Series provides additional competitive opportunities for bull riders who are both affiliated and unaffiliated with a PBR Team Series team.

The PBR debuted at Tryon International in 2021, bringing the Velocity Tour to the Tar Heel State as 2018 Rookie of the Year Keyshawn Whitehorse (McCracken Springs, Utah) and Ezekiel Mitchell (Rockdale, Texas) both put together 2-for-3 performances to tie for the event win.

In June 2022, the “Original Extreme Sport” returned to Tryon International Stadium for the final preseason event for the newly launched PBR Team Series, a groundbreaking league which transformed bull riding from an individual to team sport.

Rebounding from a 0-2 showing at the first preseason event in Bismarck, North Dakota, the Ridge Riders were a picture of perfection in Tryon, winning both of their games and posting the lone qualified ride of the Bonus Round.

The bull riding action for the 2023 PBR Ironpeddlers Chute Out at Tryon International begins at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 23, and 7:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, June 24.

All 35 competing bull riders will get on one bull each in Round 1 on Friday night and Round 2 on Saturday evening. The riders’ individual two-round scores will be totaled with the Top 10 advancing to the championship round for one more out and a chance at the event title.
