Mill Spring, NC - July 1, 2025 - David Blake (Wellington, FL) took both first and second place in Sunday’s $30,000 Yanmar America Sunday Classic, stopping the timers in 30.542 seconds with J.Diago, the 2014 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Diarado x Unknown) owned by Pine Hollow Farm. Aboard Fayuri, the 2013 Warmblood gelding (Favorit Ask x Larissa KB XXV CH) owned by P Stables LLC, Blake cleared the short course in 30.852 seconds to claim the reserve slot. Jordan Gilchrist (Flower Mound, TX) grabbed third place in a time of 32.248 seconds with Mefisto IL Mondo, her own 2012 Belgian Warmblood gelding (Cumthago C x Cartier Van De Heffinck).

Kristen VanderVeen and Bull Run’s Kingdom Score Friday $6,000 Speed Stake CSI 2*
June 27, 2025 - Three riders challenged the $6,000 Speed Stake CSI 2* on Friday in Tryon Stadium, with the podium filled by Kristen VanderVeen (USA) and Bull Run’s Kingdom, the 2015 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Dutch Design x Laptop) owned by Bull Run Jumpers Inc., in 68.11 seconds. David Blake (IRL) and J.Diago, the 2014 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Diarado x Unknown) owned by Pine Hollow Farm, toured the course in 69.3 seconds to claim second place. In third, Michael Walton (USA) and Lancelot RW, Mia Marano’s 2016 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Carrera VDL x Numero Uno), cleared the course in 77.54 seconds.

Tryon Summer 3 Division Highlights
The Foothills Hunter 2’9 Division congratulated Liza Boyd (Camden, SC) and Gigi Manigault’s Home Base as champions, with reserve honors going to Kelly Mullen (Franklin, TN) and Haugh Stables’ Sir Higgins.
Frances Kelly (Charlotte, NC) rode Callie Kelly’s Charlemagne to the championship in the Non-Pro .90m Jumper Division. Kate Parkhurst (Fairview, TX) and her own RSH Freedom were named reserve champions.
The Performance Hunter 3’3 Division was championed by Suzanna Treske (Waxhaw, NC) and Ciri Fessler’s Godiva. Caroline St. Peters (Franklin, TN) rode Aiden to reserve for First Blue LLC.
The Open 1.30m Jumper Division saw Eva Paliouras (Wellington, FL) ride La Belle Dame Z to champion honors for P Stables LLC. In reserve, Diego Bedoya Yañez (Magnolia, TX) piloted Chabluevara PS for NRG Farm LLC.
