Tryon Cares presented by Duke Energy Brings Support to Local Nonprofits

Mill Spring, NC - November 27, 2023 - Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (Tryon International) is proud to announce the return of Tryon Cares presented by Duke Energy as part of 2023’s Winterfest powered by Stuller Power Solutions. The holiday give-back initiative will support local non-profits in our communities through corporate sponsorships. In addition to the benefits of the Winterfest Sponsorship Package, sponsors were given the opportunity to select a non-profit to support this holiday season. Light show dates are every evening from 6-10pm November 17-January 1, 2024. Winterfest Village festivities are hosted all Fridays-Sundays in December through December 17, with a Christmas Week Winterfest Village taking place December 19-23.
Presenting sponsor of the Tryon Cares program, Duke Energy, is one of the largest energy holding companies in America and serves 8.2 million customers across the South. Through their sponsorship, Duke Energy is supporting Polk County Schools.

Stuller Power Solutions is proud to return to Winterfest as its presenting sponsor for 2023. Stuller Power Solutions is an electrical contracting company and full service generator dealer located in Hendersonville, NC. Stuller Power Solutions is supporting Safelight, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that provides support for survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
“We care about Safelight because Safelight cares about the health and wellbeing of families in crisis. And, Safelight cares about ‘how’ families navigate their journey to stability and safety,” said Cheryl Stuller of Stuller Power Solutions. “We love partnering with Tryon international because they care about our community and are generous with their support in very meaningful ways.”
Stuller Power Solutions is a longtime supporter of the work that Safelight does throughout Western North Carolina, Executive Director Lauren WIlkie emphasized. “We so value our partnership with Stuller Power solutions; they truly care about our community and helping save survivors.” Wilkie elaborated that the support given to Safelight through the Tryon Cares program has a deep and lasting impact on current and future Safelight clients, both through funding and special events.

Kids of all ages can experience time with the big man himself, ready to pose with a picture-perfect smile at the photo booth and submit their wishlist in person. Nth Degree Orthodontics has over 45 years of experience providing customized treatment plans with five different locations in West Spartanburg, East Spartanburg, Union, Gaffney, and Duncan. Their chosen non-profit is Healthy Smiles, the only organization in Spartanburg that provides completely free dental care to children who qualify. Healthy Smiles offers free preventative treatment for qualifying children through portable dentistry and restorative dental care at the Free Pediatric Dental Clinic at Spartanburg Community College.
Marthaler Jewelers presents the Starry Night Stage in Legends Plaza, where live music and entertainment will fill the air at Winterfest Village. Marthaler Jewelers is a family-owned, full-service jewelry repair and retail store in Fletcher, NC, specializing in custom jewelry design of the highest quality. This sponsorship supports PS I love You, a faith based non profit organization that desires to demonstrate God's heart in Psalm 68:5 as a 'Father to the Fatherless'. The organization was founded in 2009 by two ordinary couples with a desire to make a difference in the lives of children. This desire was driven by their experience as foster parents.
