June 8, 2025 – Mill Spring, NC – The Tryon Spring Series was brought to a close with the $25,000 Yanmar America Sunday Jumper Classic championed for a third time by Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN) aboard last week’s winning ride, Check Me Out (Chacoon Blue x Condara). The second double clear round of the class was performed by Sabrina Lefebvre’s 2017 Warmblood mare Ribery (Aganix Du Seigneur X Osasoena), piloted by Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN). Jumping off with a time of 44.574 seconds earned Amanda Flint (USA) aboard her own 2013 Zangersheide gelding Irvington VDL (Dallas x Quickstar) third place.

Larrazabal and the 2016 Warmblood gelding, owned by Victoria Heurtematte, posted one of only two double clears in the class. Coming off of last week's win in the $25,000 Yanmar America Sunday Classic, Larrazabal shared that Check Me Out is a very promising horse, and I feel he has everything to jump at the big level. I'm very happy that I'm able to go fast at this height, because that's what I've been working on with him. He's a big guy, with all the scope, the carefulness and the mind. I'm very excited, because I feel he can become competitive at the big level as well!”

Having a very successful run during the Tryon Spring Series presented by Fields Auto Group, Larrazabal contributes his wins to the support from “my team behind me, all my grooms, my sponsors, my wife, my kids, all of them.” He also commented on his time here at Tryon International, noting, “of course winning gives that extra nice flavor in the mouth, but we love to come here. The atmosphere, the hospitality, the food – it’s just such a nice place to come.”
