Secure your thinking caps and assemble your team — we’re upping the Trivia Tuesday stakes with the Tryon Trivia League! Test your knowledge over six weeks for the chance to earn cumulative points and win some exciting prizes.
Tryon Trivia League games will be held at the Silver Spoon Saloon on November 11th, November 18th, November 25th, December 2nd, December 9th, and December 16th, starting at 6:30PM every week. Entry is FREE!
Rules & requirements:
No phones, tablets, or smart devices during questions; this keeps things fair!
Each team must submit answers within the time limit per round.
The host’s ruling on answers is the final challenge respectfully if clarification is needed.
Teams can change members week to week, but must keep the same team name for points to count.
Bonus points may be awarded for theme rounds, costumes, or spirit at the host’s discretion.
Miss a week? That week’s score will result in zero points, but your team will still be in the running!
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded based on points earned by the top three teams after the final game, held on December 16th.
1st place team wins $500 cash
2nd place team wins a $200 Tryon International gift card
3rd place team wins a $100 Tryon International gift card
Trivia points system:
Each trivia night includes six rounds, with a mix of general knowledge, themed categories, music, pictures, and high-stakes wagering. Weekly points contribute to overall league standings!

1 Point for Song Title + 1 Point for Artist

1 Point Each
→ Total: 12 Points Possible
Round 5: Long-Form/Deep Dive
5 Questions
5 Points Each
→ Total: 25 Points Possible
Round 6: Wager Round (Risk & Reward Finale)
1 Question, with a hint provided.
Teams may wager any number of points earned during that night.
If correct: Wagered points are doubled.
If incorrect: Wagered points are lost.
Wagers must be locked in before the question is asked.
